American Battery Solutions is the latest customer to implement Plantwatch software to provide traceability, data collection and error proofing into their process of assembling lithium battery modules. Using the new Plantwatch version 3.5 with multi-user clients allows for concurrent viewing and control of the application at any networked computer. This in addition to new debug tools continues the development of the ” Fastest MES in the USA”.

American Battery Solutions is tracking the battery cells and their variables of current and resistance from birth to assembly with connections to AB PLC, Omron bar code readers and  Omron vision inspection. Plantwatch controls quality, confirms cell counts, and builds genealogy of the modules 634 battery cells as well as rejected cells.
